how do i exit a chat room on yahoo messenger?

i went on a yahoo messenger chat room then i got off yahoo messenger and signed out and i went back on yahoo messenger a little later and i was still on the same chat room. I dont want to know how you swith chat room i want to know how you exit them

Well, you click on the Chat menu (not icon) at the very top of the room where you see Chat, Edit, View, Actions, and Help. Then you choose Close. That closes The Chat Room.

If you just want to change rooms you click the Chat icon in the row with the other icons for Webcam, Voice, and Send File. Then the Room List on the Join Rooms window will open.
